Bruce was nice enough to send me some pics of mushrooms I took awhile ago. I had to lay down on the ground in someones front lawn and take them blind. I was going to post them, but then I saw it was a paid feature, so I guess I'll have to try to remember what my photobucket account is, or start a new one :/

I've read quite a few entries lately bemoaning the fall of LJ, and LJ back in the day and such. -I- miss the days of mailing lists (on a server that ganked some space somehow or another ;) and Usenet. As far as I'm concerned LJ killed my lists. That is all.

Huh, not sure what to say. Had a crazy busy long day today, but I'm not complaining! Absorbed/ing a lot of energy from people today. Being a bit of an empathic type, I'm kind of at a loss for emotion at the moment. Just sending out well wishes to everyone; there seems to be a lot of strife in the air. A bit frustrated with the exlandlord situation, but I can't talk about that until it's resolved. So hey, love ya all, kisses, hugs, and all that good stuff!

Had a very pleasant time hanging out with Julie and Eric last night. I cut off all Julie's hair, which was very fun and then we came back home and hung out around the fire with Bruce and Eric.

PHEW! It's Miller Time! Worked out two payment plans for medical expenses*, re-ordered checks, put check order on hold because the bank didn't have the new addy, went down to bank and changed addy, called back check people to order checks, spent ridiculous amount of time online trying to figure out how to fill out app for vendor's license, called auditors office**, got app filled out and ready to go in mail, balanced checkbook (again, for the second time in two days)and read police report in SNP. Keeping on top of one's finances (which has nothing to do with reading the police reports, BTW!) is a full time job in itself; whatever made me think to take over the finances and start cleaning up my credit? Oh right, I know, the sinking, horrible, paralyzing panic attacks that come on when I'm not on top of things. Right.

*I would like to know -why- exactly it cost 1,200$ to have -one- Norplant rod taken out at OSU ER, when it was only 500$ to have the whole set put in in the first place????????

**Talked to a very nice gentelman, Tim, who answered the phone directly. I was so surprised to hear a person and not a menu that I forgot how to talk for a second.

Damn it, and it's Tuesday, not Wednesday. Keep forgetting to change that date thingie!

Quiet day at the salon, though Lisa M is a total sweetheart! Christine M did in fact get in trouble for her color; she is taking a picture, we'll have to put it to the vote. We feel that it is a -fashion- color, not unnatural. German for dinner, and that's about it :) Love ya all!

How best to slack away the day? Reread Hitchhikers books (free) or watch movies all day (not free, but involves no effort on my part)? I know for certain I will be making a side of salmon on a cedar plank today. Yuuuuuuummmmm! The question is how I will cook it; over the fire (involves effort), or the oven (not so much). And who knew watercolor pencils could be so fun, even if I don't have a talented bone in my body! All this talk of slacking and all I can think is, the kitchen needs to be cleaned, I need to balance the checkbook and get some bills out and what am I going to wear to work tomorrow? Hope the weekend is going splendidly for all of you!

2. Both Chris R. and June O. called later after thier appointments to tell how much they loved thier hair.
3. Mom took me grocery shopping at Sams. A freezer full of meat says love.
4. Kate M. posting a pic of her new do online and everyone loving it.
5. Christine M.'s boss's bosses saying that the new natural-color only hair rule never had anything to do with her, because whoever did her hair did a really great job at it! Woot! I'm taking that as a compliment!
6. The cute as hell Halloween tree that Mom got me for a housewarming present.
